New Experience On Tam Giang Lagoon

Overview

The lagoon of Tam Giang a new destination in Hue city for your Vietnam Tours. The tour for travelers who like exploring and hunting for amazing photos. The image of the shrine worshipping the water nymph and the branches of red phan trees swinging at dusk on the bank of Tam Giang Lagoon overwhelm me with mysterious stories of a lagoon which is considered the largest in Southeast Asia. Tam Giang Lagoon is the meeting place of three big rivers, including O Lau, Huong and Bo, before they run into the sea through the Thuan An estuary. This 3 day trip will bring you new experiences such as learning fisherman's life, overnight at home-stay, taking a boat trip on Tam Giang lagoon, and exploring Hue countryside.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hue Arrival ( Dinner )
Car and guide of Asiana Travel Mate will pick you up at Phu Bai airport then transfer to Quang Ngan commune for your rest. Have dinner with fishermen. Overnight in a tent or in a local homestay in Tan My village.

Day 2: Tam Giang Lagoon ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Wake up early in the morning to making a fish nets with fishermen on the lagoon and taking photos in the sunrise. After breakfast, drinking tea at homestay in My Thanh wharf, we go to visit the exhibition of fishing tool house by bike. Take a boat ride across the lagoon to visit aquaculture premises, observing and trying your luck at catching a fish with a local fishermen help. Cycling around the village, visit through vegetable farms and rice fields. Continue visiting Thuy Lap weaving craft village. Have lunch and rest at homestay. (or the house of Ngu My Thanh Community village). You see bamboo weaving at Bao La village with local artisans in highly skilled craft. On the way back to Hue city, stop visiting Thu Le Temple - the central community meetinghouse for the region. Free dinner, shopping & visiting Hue city by night. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

Day 3: Visit Hue Traditional Handicraft Village ( Lunch )

Having breakfast at hotel, we then start to visit the Thanh Tien village with its temple to know more why every village in Vietnam most has a temple in front of it. Continue to explore Sinh Village and hearing the story “tunnel digging to painting” of artist, Ky Huu Phuoc. Cycling to Duong No for a visiting to Duong No temple, Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and the house of Doan Minh Can – an artist making birdcage, which is valued to thousands of dollars with very finely details. After having a picnic lunch, we continue to visit Thanh Toan Bridge and Agriculture museum to know more about the daily life of the villager. Cycling across the green rice fields, you go back to the city. Tour ends.
